Typical Applications The SCR331 is suitable for a wide range of applications. Typical applications for offices, IT companies and OEMs are for example logical access control to a PC or network, secure authentication for Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer applications, secure logon via email encryption. With its EMV certification, the SCR331 is also suitable for banking related applications. The reader is ideal for integrating it into systems of the gaming industry. Its square modular shape makes it furthermore suitable for integration into external systems such as in transportation related systems, e.g. for parking, ticketing, and toll-collection. The SCR331 can also be integrated into larger OEM systems, both with or without casing as a PCB module.
